Director, Business Development - Brands
Gameday Gateway, the world’s first sports advertising online marketplace and a nationally-certified Women’s Business Enterprise, is hiring a Director of Business Development - Brands.
The candidate must have consultative sales expertise, ambitious drive and a proven track record of success. This role, which is full-time and based in Newport Beach, California, will primarily focus on generating advertiser adoption and purchasing on Gameday Gateway’s innovative platform.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The ideal candidate will have the following experience and capabilities:
Advertising sales and/or professional sports team partnership sales and service
Consultative sales style and understanding of the landscape
Ability to generate leads and build relationships with high-level decision-makers
B2B sales experience or Platform familiarity a plus
Reach decision-makers at target accounts
Demonstrate and articulate the value of Gameday Gateway’s innovation
Meet call, appointment and revenue goals
Build and maintain strong relationships with brands
Critical thinking and problem-solving capabilities
Sharp eye for detail and organizational skills
Comfort with a fast-paced start-up environment
Ability to travel will be required to represent Gameday Gateway at events, with the press, or for meetings and other events; must also be able to attend dinners, cocktail parties and other local events as needed
Travel for client meetings and represent Gameday Gateway at annual conferences
ORGANIZATIONAL RELATIONSHIP
This role is full-time and based in our Newport Beach, California office. The hire will directly report to the President of Gameday Gateway and have extensive interaction with all areas of the startup business. The Director, Business Development - Brands will be responsible for working with numerous advertisers, brands and agencies to build consensus and constantly grow advertiser adoption and purchasing on the platform.
